Soccer Recap: Valor Christian Comes Up Short

Valor Christian and Northfield squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Valor Christian had to settle for second. They lost 4-0 to the Nighthawks. The matchup was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Valor Christian it sure didn't stay that way.

Valor Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-9-4. As for Northfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-1-1 record this season.

Valor Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northfield, they will challenge Denver South on Tuesday.
