Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Monroeville). They blew past the New London Wildcats 20-6 on Tuesday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Payton Weilnau and Taylor Scheid were major factors no matter where they played. Throwing, Weilnau struck out eight batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Meanwhile, Scheid tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off seven hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (four). At the plate, Weilnau went 4-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and four RBI, while Scheid went 1-for-4 with three runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Taryn Tyler was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three runs, three doubles, and three RBI. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in April of 2024.
