Softball Recap: Linden Extends Winning Streak to 13

Linden waltzed into their matchup on Monday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. They blew past the Kearsley Hornets 13-0. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 contests by six runs or more this season.

Addi Siegwald (2027) was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (two). Another player making a difference was Sophia Helm (2025), who went 1-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Linden kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in four consecutive games.

Linden pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Kearsley, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Linden will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Hornets: the pair will be back at it again later today.
