The Warriors are taking a road trip to take on the Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Cambridge City Lincoln took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Wes-Del, who comes in off a win.

Wes-Del's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging an 83-0 victory over Union County. That 83 point margin sets a new team best for the Warriors this season.

Wes-Del's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB seven times. It was truly a group effort as Connor Johnson, Elijah Durr, and Luke Powers picked up two apiece. Ryan Hyre got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Cambridge City Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 63-8 loss at the hands of Winchester Community.

The win made it two in a row for Wes-Del and bumps their season record up to 4-3. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points over those games. As for Cambridge City Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Friday's game might be decided in the trenches. Wes-Del has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 330.6 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Cambridge City Lincoln, though, as they've been averaging only 19.1 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?

Everything came up roses for Wes-Del against Cambridge City Lincoln in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 50-20 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
