Basketball Recap: LKY Triumphs

On Monday, the LKY Saints had just enough and edged the Christian Academy-Louisville Centurions out 61-58.

Hannah Simmon continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 9 of 19 on her way to 29 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of LKY's points. Courtney Simmon was another key player, putting up 14 points and six rebounds.

LKY's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Christian Academy-Louisville, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

LKY will square off against Rock Creek Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. LKY is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.7 points per game this season. Christian Academy-Louisville has already played their next game (against North Hardin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
