Twentynine Palms dropped down to 3-3 on Thursday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They were dealt a 36-6 loss at the hands of the Desert Hot Springs Golden Eagles. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

As for Desert Hot Springs, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Desert Hot Springs' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dominick Ambal led the charge by picking up 77 receiving yards and one TD, while also punching in one score on the ground. Another passer making a difference was Jaylen Turner, who threw for 167 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes.

Coincidentally, Twentynine Palms and Desert Hot Springs will both be playing Banning the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will head out to face the Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th, while the Golden Eagles will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
