Basketball Recap: Baird Takes a Loss

After flying high against Moran last Tuesday, Baird came back down to earth. The Baird Bears took a 47-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eula Pirates on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-28 back in January.

Baird now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Eula, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-16.

Coming up, Baird will look to defend their home court on Monday against Strawn at 6:30 p.m. As for Eula, they will venture away from home to challenge Gordon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gordon will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Eula surely won't give up without a fight.
