After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Harleton, Carlisle was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Hawkins Hawks as the Carlisle Indians made off with a 9-2 win. That's more bragging rights for Carlisle, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Brandon Garza made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits (and only one walk). Garza was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
