Basketball Recap: Mason County Comes Up Short

If Mason County was feeling good fresh off their 65-19 takedown of St. Patrick last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mason County Royals came up short against the Fleming County Panthers on Saturday, falling 93-72. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (65), the Royals still had to take the loss.

Mason County's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-7. As for Fleming County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.

Mason County will challenge Bourbon County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fleming County, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Fleming County Panthers face off against the Cooper Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
