Volleyball Recap: Leon Comes Up Short

Leon was the 3-1 winner over Florida State University High School when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions fell 3-1 to the Seminoles on Tuesday.

While Leon ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 23-25, 25-22, 25-21.

Leon has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season. As for Florida State University High School, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Leon will welcome Wakulla at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Florida State University High School, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Lincoln at 6:00 p.m.
