Volleyball Recap: Naperville North Comes Up Short

Naperville North was the 2-1 winner over Waubonsie Valley when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Huskies fell 2-0 to the Warriors on Thursday. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Naperville North was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by exactly two points. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-23.

Naperville North's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 13-6. As for Waubonsie Valley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Naperville North is set to challenge their familiar foe Neuqua Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Waubonsie Valley will face off against rival Naperville Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
