Softball Recap: Dayton Beats Pomeroy for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Dayton won the last time they faced Pomeroy and things went their way on Friday too. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 18-14. The win was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on four straight.

Dayton got a massive performance out of Teagan Culley, who went 4-for-5 with three stolen bases, two triples, and three runs. Culley also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Cindi Howard was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 5-for-5.

Dayton's record now sits at 4-2. As for Pomeroy, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Dayton will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Pirates: the pair will be back at it again later today.
