Muhlenberg's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the Governor Mifflin Mustangs 18-12. With that victory, the Muhls brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Kaylee Jablonski, who fired off two home runs, four runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-4. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Alyna Hernandez, who scored four runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4.

Muhlenberg was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .439. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matchups.

Muhlenberg's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Governor Mifflin, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Muhlenberg will square off against Reading at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Muhlenberg's pitchers better be ready for this one: Reading has averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season. As for Governor Mifflin, they will face off against Mechanicsburg at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
