Softball Recap: Parkview Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Parkview's offense. They came up short against the Benton Panthers on Tuesday, falling 15-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Parkview saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lauryn Foster, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Parkview's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Benton, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-2.

Coming up, Parkview will host Concord at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight. As for Benton, they are taking a road trip to face off against Sylvan Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
