Volleyball Recap: Shenandoah Valley Comes Up Short

If Shenandoah Valley was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Weatherly on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Blue Devils fell 3-1 to the Williams Valley Vikings on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Devils of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-18, 21-25, 25-14.

Shenandoah Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Williams Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Shenandoah Valley will square off against Schuylkill Haven at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Devils are facing the Hurricanes at the right time seeing as the Hurricanes are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Williams Valley, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Halifax on the 13th.
