Baseball Game Preview: Kashmere Fighting Rams vs. Washington Eagles

Kashmere hasn't had much luck against Washington recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Kashmere will face off against Washington at 7:00 p.m. Kashmere has given up an average of 16.8 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Kashmere is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 13th straight game dating back to last season on Saturday. They lost 21-0 to Northside.

Meanwhile, Washington waltzed into their game on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Colts as they made off with a 16-4 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by six runs or more this season.

Washington's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Kashmere, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Kashmere suffered a grim 20-8 defeat to Washington in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can Kashmere avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
