Baseball Game Preview: Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors vs. Griffith Panthers

The Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors will square off against the Griffith Panthers at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Griffith took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Hammond Bishop Noll, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Hammond Bishop Noll earned a 6-3 win over Merrillville.

Meanwhile, Griffith lost 11-2 to Kouts on Saturday. The Panthers have struggled against the Mustangs & Fillies recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Griffith saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Steve McDermott, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Hammond Bishop Noll is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Griffith, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-12.
