Recap: Veritas Christian Eagles vs. Wichita HomeSchool Warriors
The Veritas Christian Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by Wichita HomeSchool on the road and fell 74-29. Veritas Christian has not had much luck with Wichita HomeSchool recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Veritas Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Josh Nadvornik, who scored nine points, and Abel Ney who scored six points.
Veritas Christian has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Wichita HomeSchool, they pushed their record up to 10-6 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Veritas Christian will head out on the road to square off against Faith Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Faith Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Wichita HomeSchool will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on St. Mary's Academy on January 25th.
