Volleyball Recap: Cincinnati Christian Takes a Loss

Cincinnati Christian was the 3-1 winner over Princeton when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings on Monday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Maddy Jones paced Cincinnati Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. Jones got some help from Anna Bowling and her 39 assists. Bowling was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Cincinnati Christian's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Princeton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-9 record this season.

Cincinnati Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Roger Bacon on the 25th. As for Princeton, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Oak Hills on the 25th.
