Basketball Game Preview: Western Yell County Wolverines vs. St. Paul Saints

The Western Yell County Wolverines are taking a road trip to face off against the St. Paul Saints at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 69-41, which was the final score in Western Yell County's tilt against Mount Ida last Saturday. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, St. Paul was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 71-43 loss at the hands of Mulberry.

Western Yell County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for St. Paul, their loss dropped their record down to 5-14.

Western Yell County couldn't quite finish off St. Paul when the teams last played back in January of 2020 and fell 53-50. Can Western Yell County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
