Football Recap: McKee Vo-Tech/Staten Island Tech Comes Up Short

If McKee Vo-Tech/Staten Island Tech was riding high fresh off their 30-0 takedown of Bayside last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. McKee Vo-Tech/Staten Island Tech came up short against the Randolph Campus Cougars on Saturday, falling 31-8.

McKee Vo-Tech/Staten Island Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Randolph Campus, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. McKee Vo-Tech/Staten Island Tech will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cardozo at 6:00 p.m. on October 10. As for Randolph Campus, they will venture away from home to take on Yonkers Force [Gorton/Roosevelt/Yonkers Montessori Academy/Yonkers] at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Force's defense has only allowed 9.5 points per game this season, so the Cougars' offense will have their work cut out for them.
