Basketball Game Preview: Pleasant Grove Hawks vs. Fouke Panthers

The Pleasant Grove Hawks and the Fouke Panthers will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Pleasant Grove is headed into Monday's game hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They fell 47-35 to Mt. Pleasant on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Fouke ended up a good deal behind Centerpoint last Thursday and lost 55-40.

Pleasant Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Fouke, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-3.

Pleasant Grove came up short against Fouke when the teams last played back in November of 2022, falling 70-62. Can Pleasant Grove avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
