Basketball Game Preview: Rosedale Christian Academy Rosedale Panthers vs. Corvian Community Cardinals

The Rosedale Christian Academy Rosedale Panthers will square off against the Corvian Community Cardinals at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, Rosedale Christian Academy didn't have too much trouble with Friends as they won 51-35. The game marked the Rosedale Panthers' most dominant win of the season.

Meanwhile, Corvian Community entered their tilt with York last Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They claimed a resounding 71-30 victory over the Cougars.

Rosedale Christian Academy better keep an eye on RJ Moore Jr.. He was instrumental in Corvian Community's win, going 6 for 9 from beyond the arc on his way to 29 points and five rebounds. The contest was Moore Jr.'s seventh in a row with at least ten points. Malachi McCutcheon was another key player, going 5 of 8 on his way to 11 points along with six assists and six boards.

Corvian Community was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as York only posted three assists.

Corvian Community's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Rosedale Christian Academy, their victory ended a 12-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-13.
