Fairland and Wheelersburg squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Fairland had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Wheelersburg Pirates by a score of 45-43. The Dragons' defeat signaled the end of their 15-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Fairland still got an impressive performance from Brody Buchanan, who went 10-for-21 to rack up 24 points. The game was Buchanan's fifth in a row with at least 23 points. Another player making a difference was Cliff Fransen, who posted eight points and seven boards.
