Ferris had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the Gonzaga Prep Bullpups with a sharp 15-9 victory on Thursday. Considering the Saxons' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Ferris' win bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Gonzaga Prep, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ferris is set to square off against their familiar foe Shadle Park at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Gonzaga Prep will take on rival Lewis & Clark at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
