After a string of three wins, Georgetown's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hebron Hawks.

Georgetown was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-23.

Makenna Stengle paced Georgetown's offense, picking up seven kills. Stengle got some help from Amelia Albright and her 12 assists.

Georgetown's loss dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Hebron, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Georgetown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Johnson on the 30th. As for Hebron, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against College Park on the 30th.
