While Staunton's win against Dupo wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Tigers on Wednesday. The win was just business as usual for the Bulldogs, who after seven games remain undefeated this season.

Staunton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Izzy Janus, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Ele Feldmann was another, going 1-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Staunton's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Dupo, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Staunton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 5-1 defeat against Carrollton on the 31st. As for Dupo, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-2 win against Sparta on the 27th.
