Baseball Game Preview: Pinkston Vikings vs. Kennedale Wildcats

For the second straight game, Pinkston will face off against Kennedale. The Vikings will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Pinkston heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Thursday. They lost 11-1 to Kennedale. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Vikings couldn't push the score so high this time.

Pinkston saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eric Pasillas, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Pasillas is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Kennedale, bringing their record up to 15-11. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Pinkston, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-11.
