Volleyball Recap: Central Heights Picks Up Fifth Straight Win on the Road

After losing to Southern Coffey County the last time they met, Central Heights decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Vikings came out on top against the Titans by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-21.

Lyla Hamblin paced Central Heights' offense, picking up seven kills. Hamblin got some help from Kenna Kimball and her nine assists.

Central Heights pushed their record up to 8-13 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Southern Coffey County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20-1.

Central Heights didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Marmaton Valley on the 30th. Hopefully Southern Coffey County paid attention to the Vikings' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Vikings at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
