            Volleyball Recap: Yerba Buena Aztec Warriors vs. Franklin Yellowjackets        
        
		
        
        
            Yerba Buena was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Franklin Yellowjackets. The Aztec Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Yellowjackets apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in October of 2021.
 Franklin's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Lexie Shobert led the charge by  getting 16  assists and nine  digs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Celeste Ipina-Munguia, who  had nine  digs.
Yerba Buena's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Franklin, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-13 record  this season.
 Yerba Buena has already played their next match,  a  2-0  win against Millennium on the 11th. As for Franklin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  2-0  defeat against Elk Grove on the 11th.
