Soccer Recap: Sierra Linda Comes Up Short

After flying high against Central last Monday, Sierra Linda came back down to earth. The Sierra Linda Bulldogs lost 4-1 to the Copper Canyon Aztecs on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Aztecs: they've now lost three in a row.

Sierra Linda's loss dropped their record down to 5-7-2. As for Copper Canyon, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3-1 and their overall record up to 5-5-1.

Sierra Linda wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Glendale on the 7th. As for Copper Canyon, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Washington on the 6th.
