Volleyball Game Preview: Shafter Generals vs. Wasco Tigers + How To Watch

The Shafter Generals will square off against the Wasco Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shafter will be looking to extend their current 20-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Shafter got the win against Kennedy by a conclusive 3-0.

Shafter not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Kennedy between 17 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 25-17.

Shafter can attribute much of their success to Macy Ulloa, who had 11 digs.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Wasco took on Taft on Thursday. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Wildcats.

While Wasco ultimately came up short, they really made Taft work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 28-26, 25-19.

Wasco has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Shafter, their win bumped their record up to 24-1.

Everything went Shafter's way against Wasco in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Shafter made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Generals repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
