Preview: Plain Dealing vs. Haynesville
If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Haynesville. They will challenge Plain Dealing on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Haynesville don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Last Friday, Haynesville put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. Everything came up roses for them against Lincoln Prep as the squad secured a 53-12 victory. The win was familiar territory for Haynesville, who now have seven in a row.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Plain Dealing, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They took a serious blow against Arcadia, falling 16-62.
Haynesville had enough points to win and then some against Plain Dealing the last time the two teams met, taking their match 34-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for Haynesville since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
