Baseball Recap: Walnut Takes a Loss

Walnut couldn't beat Glendora on Thursday even though they stacked six runs on them in the first inning. The Mustangs came up short against the Tartans, falling 13-6. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Tartans: they've now lost four in a row.

Walnut's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Glendora, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-9.

While Walnut had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
