Baseball Recap: Frontier Extends Winning Streak to Three

While Frontier's victory against Garces Memorial wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Titans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 11-10 win over the Rams on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Titans, who have now won three contests in a row.

The team relied heavily on Ayden Francisco, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Frontier is undefeated when Francisco posts three or more RBI, but 7-12-1 otherwise. Michael Lievanos was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Frontier kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2025.

Frontier's record is now 10-12-1. As for Garces Memorial, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-9.

Looking ahead, Frontier will take on Highland at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Titans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Scots have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season. As for Garces Memorial, they will face off against Liberty at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Patriots' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Rams' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
