Volleyball Game Preview: Masterman Blue Dragon vs. Central Lancers

Masterman hasn't had much luck against Central recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Blue Dragon will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lancers at 3:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Masterman came up short against Academy at Palumbo and fell 3-1.

While Masterman ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 19-25, 25-20, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Central got the win against MAST Charter II on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lancers.

Central got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 30-28.

Masterman's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Masterman couldn't quite get it done against Central in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 as they fell 3-1. Can the Blue Dragon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
