Volleyball Recap: Flowery Branch Victorious

Flowery Branch lost to Stephens County back in October of 2015, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Falcons walked away with a 2-0 win over the Indians. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Flowery Branch not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Stephens County between 17 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18.

Flowery Branch's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Stephens County, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Coming up, Stephens County will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Union County at 5:00 p.m. Flowery Branch will be paying especially close attention to the Indians' game: after the Indians face off against the Panthers, they'll take on Flowery Branch again at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
