City View not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 19th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Jacksboro Tigers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The 3-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-23, 25-23.

City View's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 10-16. As for Jacksboro, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-11.

Looking ahead, City View will head out on the road to take on Bowie at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Jacksboro, they will face off against Vernon at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
