South Anchorage faced Eagle River in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Wolverines blew past the Wolves 33-0. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

South Anchorage's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Addison Bailey, who picked up 126 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in one score on the ground. That's the most receiving touchdowns Bailey has posted since back in August. Another passer making a difference was Jillian Preston, who threw for 209 yards and a pair of TDs.

South Anchorage's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Eagle River, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Anchorage will head out to challenge Colony at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eagle River, they will venture away from home to square off against Bettye Davis East Anchorage at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
