Blanchard had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Chickasha Fightin Chicks a 6-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won 12 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Blanchard's victory bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Chickasha, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season.
