Volleyball Recap: West Adams Comes Up Short

West Adams lost against Diego Rivera back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Huskies. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Adams was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22, 25-17.

West Adams' loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Diego Rivera, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. West Adams is set to square off against their familiar foe Jefferson at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Diego Rivera will challenge rival Math & Science College Preparatory at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
