Baseball Recap: Farmersville Takes a Loss

While it was Farmersville who put the first points on the board on Saturday, it was Sulphur Springs who put up more. Farmersville fell just short of Sulphur Springs by a score of 6-5. The Farmers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Farmersville's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Sulphur Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.

Farmersville will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wills Point at 7:00 p.m. on April 4. As for Sulphur Springs, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-8 win against North Lamar on the 25th.
