Saint Jo gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 68-44 margin over the Fort Worth THESA Riders. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Saint Jo's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lee Yeley, who rushed for 109 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also picked up 144 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Yeley's longest reception was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per catch total.
