Basketball Game Preview: North Rowan Cavaliers vs. West Rowan Falcons

The North Rowan Cavaliers will head out to face off against the West Rowan Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Thursday, North Rowan was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 75-69 to North Stanly. While losing is never fun, the Cavaliers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 366th, while the Comets are ranked 118th).

Meanwhile, West Rowan strolled past East Rowan with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 59-45.

West Rowan's victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for North Rowan, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

North Rowan strolled past West Rowan in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a score of 74-55. Will North Rowan repeat their success, or does West Rowan have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
