Basketball Recap: Willowbrook Takes a Loss

Willowbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-50 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hinsdale South Hornets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 55-44 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2025.

Willowbrook's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Hinsdale South, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-15 record.

Willowbrook wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 79-63 defeat against Plainfield East on the 31st. As for Hinsdale South, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-40 loss against St. Laurence on the 3rd.
