Softball Recap: Mather Comes Up Short

Mather lost against Jones on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rangers fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 5-4. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mather saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dahli Sanchez, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Mather's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Jones, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Mather wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-7 victory against Rickover Naval on the 14th. As for Jones, they have also already played their next match, a 14-1 win against Von Steuben on the 14th.
