Basketball Game Preview: Duchesne Eagles vs. North Sevier Wolves

The Duchesne Eagles will square off against the North Sevier Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Duchesne has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 171 points over their last three matchups.

Duchesne is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Gunnison Valley: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Duchesne blew Gunnison Valley out of the water with a 56-17 final score. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, North Sevier played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 72-36 loss at the hands of North Summit. The defeat continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Braves: they've now lost six in a row.

Duchesne is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 15-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points per game. As for North Sevier, their loss dropped their record down to 9-12.
