Basketball Recap: Nate Raab's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Chenango Forks over Windsor Central

Chenango Forks was the 53-30 winner over Windsor Central when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Chenango Forks Blue Devils fell to the Windsor Central Black Knights 53-49.

Chenango Forks' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nate Raab, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 15 points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave Raab a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Vaseleck, who posted nine points and five rebounds.

Windsor Central's record now sits at 2-0.

Chenango Forks wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 58-50 defeat against Owego Free Academy on the 12th. As for Windsor Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-56 loss against Dryden on the 9th.
