Softball Recap: Rochester Has No Trouble Against Freedom Area

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hopewell, Rochester was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 25-15 margin over the Freedom Area Bulldogs. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Rams considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

The victory got Rochester back to even at 2-2. As for Freedom Area, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Rochester and Freedom Area will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Rochester is set to square off against their familiar foe Carlynton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Freedom Area will take on rival Riverside at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
