Basketball Game Preview: Jordan Falcons vs. Wake Forest Cougars

The Jordan Falcons will venture away from home to square off against the Wake Forest Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Jordan has five straight wins, Wake Forest has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, Jordan took their match with ease, bagging a 66-29 victory over Vance County. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 47-13.

Rivers Knight continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 5 for 6 on his way to 14 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Lowe, who went 6 of 8 on his way to 14 points.

Jordan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January.

Meanwhile, Wake Forest came up short against Green Hope on Thursday and fell 50-41.

Wake Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Jordan, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Jordan skirted past Wake Forest 65-62 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jordan since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
